SERVICES
Here at Drover's Ridge, as we work on our main facility to be ready for operation, we are opening up our ranch up to a few select pets at a time. We offer short and long term boarding, daycare, training, assist with homecare of a variety of medical needs and basic grooming, with full spa or a la cart options. BOARDING
​​​​​​​​​​Pets who stay with us are in our home (or pasture), on the ranch, and part of our family in our everyday life. While your loved one stays with us, they will be loved and cared for as if they were one of our own. We do not have a kennel setup because we don't like the "shelter" feel of them. Because of this, we are limited to a reserved number of clients at a time.
Our owner has been a K9 trainer for over 20 years and a vet tech/SAR handler and trainer for the past 10 years. She owns and has worked with a variety of different animals including house pets and livestock. She is very experienced with handling pets of all needs, kinds, sizes, and shapes.

We will accept any kind of pets! Any critter staying with us will need to have a medical note stating the patient's health, vaccine status and any known health limitations or conditions. Big or small, we love them all! Whether it is a small animal, feline, canine, avian, reptiles, aquatics, equine, bovine, ovine, or caprine. Whatever you have, let us care for your loved one while you rest easy knowing they are in good hands and enjoying the beautiful Black Hills in peace.

GROOMING
Currently we are only offering basic grooming packages until our new grooming salon is built and up and running.

We welcome pets of all sizes and ages. Basic Bath, Brush Out, Dry, Ears, Nails, Blueberry Facial, De-shed and Sanitary Shave (Privates and face), See our price page for more information!

Currently, All grooming services are offered by us picking up and dropping off your pet. This ensures the peaceful quiet area for our neighbors with less traffic and an ease of convenience for you!
Daycare
We are offering daycare to any pet that you may have. Our office hours are 9am to 5pm but if you need drop off or pick up outside of that we can definitely work with you! We offer pickups and drop offs as early as 7am and as late as 10pm.

While here at Drover's Ridge, your pet will have the run of the ranch. They can come and go in our home out to our extra large dog yard, go on leashed walks around the property doing "farm chores", or you can add on a spa day, hike in the woods, field trip to town, just a nail trim, whatever you'd like!

Training / Classes
Our consultation is a great way to get to know you, your pet and what your goals and availability is like. From there we will create a customized training plan that will work with you to best suite your needs. No training classes or sessions will be scheduled without a consult first.

Our One on One sessions are custom designed for your pet (and any housemates if you want). We will meet at a mutually agreed on location and the session can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. You will be given homework to work on each week with your pet and will get one phone call update halfway between the next session. Multiple pets in the same household can be worked on during the same session for an additional cost.

We also offer phone/video consultations. If you just have a quick moment to go over your thoughts and goals and I can see some behaviors on video, we will advise a plan of action to get you to where you need to be.
​
If we are in a session or a class and your pet becomes extremely reactive or aggressive/difficult to handle, there will be an extra charge. However, we will still help you work through this!
